SteelCloud Attains 50 Percent Growth in Hosting Partnerships in Three Months

SteelCloud, an integrator of mobility computing appliance solutions and BlackBerry Elite Alliance Member, announced the company recorded 50 percent growth in its hosting partnerships in the last three months and its monthly recurring hosting revenue exceeded a $1 million annual run rate.
The company also announced that it has reached an agreement with its 150th hosting partner to offer hosted BlackBerry (News - Alert) services.
By joining with SteelCloud, hosters receive BlackBerry Enterprise Server licensing with no upfront license fees. Hosters only pay monthly license fees for their actual usage. The monthly license fee paid by hosters includes BlackBerry Technical Support Services which provide them direct access to technical experts.
Hosters also have the option to deploy the SteelCloud SteelWorks appliance solution for rapid implementation of BlackBerry Enterprise Server, either at the hoster or the client site.
SteelCloud delivers integrated hardware/software appliance solutions, to commercial and government enterprises, that focus on ease of deployment, policy compliance, and high availability.
Brian Hajost, SteelCloud's president and CEO, says an increase in partners from 100 to 150 is a great achievement for the company. This is achieved in less than three months. A steady increase in monthly revenue from partners is also significant to the Company. With recent expansion into Australia and New Zealand, company is now supporting hosting partners on every continent.
SteelCloud's major product include the SteelWorks XPRESS appliance designed for companies planning to deploy BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express; and SteelWorks Transporter+, an application designed to simplify migrating users from BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4 to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5 or “BES 5.”
SteelCloud has partnered with Research in Motion (News - Alert) to bring a profitable new option for providing BlackBerry Hosted Solution services to the market. This provides opportunity of deploying a complete hardware/software BES appliance solution called SteelWorks. SteelWorks is the new option for any Alliance Hosted Solution Partners to deploy the BES solution.
