GigeNET Adds Cloud Servers with Connectivity Cloud to Dedicated or Co-Located Environments
By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributor
GigeNET announced it has added cloud servers with connectivity cloud to dedicated or co-located environments.
The company specializes in providing high-end hosting and co-location solutions from its inception in 1990s. Many successful internet businesses have used the base created by GigeNET.
According to a release, the co-location clients and dedicated server customers have experienced a high level of performance and reliability for several years due to 100 percent network SLA and zero-outages achieved by GigeNET. The company has helped businesses to reduce their Carbon footprint and derive savings.
Recognized to have a high performance network with excellent technical support, GigeNET has now added Cloud Servers with connectivity cloud to dedicated or co-located environments.
The company claims that hundreds of users have been added to the new cloud environment and it has received outstanding reviews. The features provided by GigeNET are not easily available elsewhere; it has been able to raise the level of expectation of the users.
Many established and growing organizations are able to use a large array of features because it is able to connect through private VLAN’s from cloud to dedicated co-located servers. The new feature which its clients are exited about is the use of cloud servers for development and to backup co-located servers. Devices outside the cloud can be connected to devices inside the cloud without any additional cost.
The flexibility needed by its clients is provided through the rapid deployment dedicated servers and instant GigeNET Cloud servers. While earlier it started as a virtual Web hosting and application development provider, the company has changed its role and has become a provider of managed dedicated servers, virtual servers, co-location and managed storage backups.
In related news, a new Gigabit Ethernet-ready Vision Appliance called GEVA, was launched by DALSA Corporation, a global provider of machine vision technology.
